Well boys another year has come and nearly gone so I decided to start a Rx 2004 Year Sports Awards thread. Feel free to post your nominations.

P.S. Wil I (Eagles) don't know where you get (Eagles) the idea that I would (Eagles) put the same (Eagles) words in all of my (Eagles) posts. I find (Eagles) that a bit (Eagles) surprising that you would (Eagles) think that I am (Eagles) biased towards the (Eagles) football team that plays (Eagles) a few minutes down (Eagles) Broad St here (Eagles) in Philly. (Eagles)

Athlete of the Year- Peyton Manning, I don't like him, but by the end of the year he will have SHATTERED records.

Comeback athlete of the Year- Jesse Orosco, lol, the fact the man at age 89 is still alive much less pitching in the majors guarantees him this award every year until his death.

Choke of the year- Have to be Yankees, up 3-0 unbeatable closer on mound, I was sitting next to a Red Sox fan who literally had tears in his eyes, moaning "this was gonna be our year"

Best Sports Moment- Have to agree on Curt Schilling, years from now he will be remembered as one man who removed the curse and brought a nation of Sox fans joy

Team of the Year- Arsenal Gunners, English Soccer, first team to ever go unbeaten in Premiership play

Adding, Disappointment of the Year: US Basketball, amazingly they are the only team in history that was so bad they actually had their own country rooting for them to lose.
