pats and colts look unbeatable but....

there is a parallel with '94 superchaged 49ers. After painfully losing a few NFC title games, there is a huge emotional hunger to finally succeed. Hunger coupled with resolve & talent is a lethal potion.

Defence is only possible weak link in spite of the low number of points given up. Are they really that bad? One theory is that the offence controls the clock and eats up lots of time, which is masking problems that will surface later.

This may sound weird but a Washington upset tomorrow could actually help them stay focused. And the Redskins are better than their won/loss record. A lot games finished within a score. Potential upset here.

i think they get get upset in play-offs again. coaches will watch film how pgh ran ball down their throat. run offense is 14th in league and run defense is 21st in league. that is no improvemt. that is a weakness. if they play a good running team that can control clock, (atlanta & denver) they could be in big trouble. by playing in weak division is going to hurt them at play-off time. we shall see but i have a feeling other play-off teams will exploit their weakness.

The Colts not being one of them. Manning is like ARod. Nobody's better when it doesn't matter. When it matters, they choke like dogs. Pats rolling again today. Hoping for another AFC Championship game in Foxboro versus the Colts. If so, I will be a rich man.
