I started with $2,000 and made 4 back to back bets on the NFL at mybookie.com. I called in to with draw part of my winnings $9,500.00 of $15,000.00 I followed the policy of mybookie.com and was told my check would be mailed this past Monday "Dec 6 2004" and I would get a Fed Ex tracking # Tuesday. Well I called late Tuesday because I was never emailed my tracking # and was told I will get it Wednesday to call back.

I called Wednesday and again was told there had been some problems and to call back Thursday.....

To make a long story short I have been told this everyday and here it is Saturday and I am told Monday I will have a tracking #, do I believe that?

I contacted OSGA.com and have not heard back yet.

Is there other places I can go that could help me here in contacting them or anything to resolve this issue? I picked mybookie because of the good rep they have but I have not seen it yet!

Has anyone had issues with mybookie?

Are hitchs like this common or should I be concerned?

Thanks

I have taken steps to assist you MaddEnemy.

sidingman, I am just awaiting your next move. I was unclear if you meant Friday (Yesterday 12/10 or 12/17)?

They seem to always have issues on getting those checks out. Have always got them, but sometimes it takes awhile. They don't like sending it via neteller for some reason if you have withdrawn more then you have deposited. I don't like that policy at all. Plus now that they have banned me from making wagers there, I don't have to many good things to say about that shop

No one likes loosing money but that is the business they are in. They have no problem taking your money but it has to be a 2 way street.

I followed their policy and bet my dept amount 3 times and in fact 5 times. The catch is the odds must be against the player to make 3 correct choices.

If a sportbook company wants to have you follow their policy word for word and give a player no room the should do the same and in my case pay-out according to their policy.

I beat the odds and won, they should live up to their part.

I called in making the bets, they even told me a few times I couldn't bet "that amount". If they are not willing to part with that much money they need not take the bet. I was willing to put thousands down and I did $12,000 buying some points, I was willing to loose that much if they were not they shouldn't take the bet

Madd, when they kept telling you tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday etc. did they zero out your account or leave the entire balance for you to continue to play?

Slow paying a bettor is not good to say the least.
That is true from one who just started and was causious in the first place as horor stories about these online betting is all around.

I have learned from this for sure!

What gets me even more is I had to wait 3 weeks to cash out because of credit card payment so now it has turned into a 4 to 4 1/2 week wait.

I'll post when I get the check

One of the problems with mybbookie is that they only do checks once a week. And if for some reason, they don't process your check on Monday, they make you wiat unitl the next Monday before they will proccess it. The fact that Madd dind't get his money last week, is of no real suprise. I'm just suprised they wasted his time by telling him he would get his money later in the week. It would be highly unusual for them to proccess a check midweek.

This book only wnats losers, and they mistreat winners. ANd if you are a loser, but get on a winning streak, they will screw you too.

I have been with them for a while. They warned me not to play steam, and ever since I have had a good relationship. I feel that their owners are very honorable IMO. :103631605

Regarding this situation: First General Pete is not feeling well and has asked me to respond in his place we both have the same reply from MyBookie regarding the issue discussed in this thread.

First and formost MyBookie has informed the Rx. that they will pay MaddEnemy every cent he has coming.

MyBookie would like to explain that ME opened his account on Novemeber 12th 2004 and was given the standard MyBookie model "wiseguy speach" in other words he was informed that MyBookie is a casual players book. Knowing this ME still opened his account by credit card and was informed that any withdrawls have a 21 day hold on them: From Deposit rules on website.

"No withdrawal from account for 21 days on all initial credit card deposits".

ME immediately made maximum bets on so called steam games, which in itself is not illegal but as he was told not the type of business MyBookie seeks. His first request for payment came within 3 days of opening his account which he knew was against the rules. MyBookie was very clear about the 21 day rule and the wise guy rule. All of which was explained in the initial wise guy speach when ME signed up. From MyBookie's rule section:

"Any client who knowingly provides false or inaccurate account information or attempts in any way to defraud will result in cancellation of said account and all balances to be at held at company's discretion".

BTW MyBookie does not determine a wiseguy based on what they win or lose but what they bet. ME played some very sharp steam action and won a substantial amount very rapidly.

All this caused his account to be closed and put on hold while MyBookie investigated the events chronicled above. MyBookie management has no intention of holding or not paying ME's balance including any winnings. He will be paid by prearranged agreement ASAP.

MyBookie wishes to advise all that in the future WISEGUYS NEED NOT APPLY but all players who are owed legitimate winnings (including Madd Enemy) will be paid just like every cliet who has ever played at MyBookie.

Thank You, Wilheim

PS - MaddEnemy please contact MyBookie management on Sunday to finalize details for your payment in full.
