I beleive the reason you see their juice move so much is because their software is all set up to move when certain players hit them. In other words it's all computerized. So until their linesmaker sees what has happened you get the lopsided juice then he will go ahead and move the line.

I didn't mind it the other night when they kept hanging Illinois -12 (+123) when most other shops were at -10.5. In my opinion, Pinnacle gambles too much. They post their own line early which often times is significantly off from the mainstream and as said, they move the vig all day long and not necessarily on any major move. I try to take advantage of their soft vig moves whenever warranted.

Let's just suppose that you're right. Not wise when an Offshore Book is playing games and/or gambling significantly. Remember Acesgold? Same country, Curacao. Same level of government non-involvement. High limits. Taking sharp action over the internet up to 50K. Pinnacle has been solid the last few years but prior to that were relatively obscure. No flags being raised here, just don't allow myself to ever forget lessons learned from the past. This football season has not been easy for the books with all the favorites winning. Heavy cash out happens right after the Superbowl. My accounts will be emptied before that day.

ted - good point about books after the super bowl. that is when kingsbet/intertel quit answering their phones and i never got to cash out my 7 dimes. as far as pinnacle vig, i like it for the fact it gives another wagering option. they had one total at +143 and only i point off other books. i lost the play but at least thought it was good line value.
