I wonder how this guy has lasted this long...This team constantly underachieves......
They make some of the worst play calls, and decisions of any team in the league.....
They are usually out of timeouts for the first half by the end of the first quarter, and at the end of the 3rd quarter.....today, they finally saved their timeouts, and then wasted them at the end.....
They complete a nice pass with 10 sec left, and use last timeout, at the carolina 28........knowing if a slow footed Chandler gets sacked the half will run out, they should have brought the fg kicker on right then, instead they try another pass play, which took 9 seconds, and threw int into the endzone...almost saying, hey we dont want a fg anyway, bring us to within 10, we would rather have nothing.....If they had 1 timeout remaining, i could understand the call, even if it did get intercepted, but with no timeouts, it was just too close, kick the fg.......
This isnt an isolated incident, they do this stuff all the time......They made the miracle comeback against Seattle, and it looked as if they were finally gonna get on a roll, but with the exception of beating seattle again, they havent done much....This team lost at home to NO, lost to Miami, got creamed by Green Bay, who now cant beat anybody, etc..
Other coaches get fired after winning records, this guy seems to get a free pass every year.....
With the talent they have, there is no reason they should be looking at 6-7 today........:nono5:
