Do you bet more per game on slow days?

I do, because I'm mainly concerned with my daily swings and not my per game swings. On a day with fewer games I can afford to bet a bit more per game and still my expected swing will be nowhere near the big days like Saturdays for example.

Just wondering how many of you guys do the same!? :dogtoilet

i dont see how this can be advantageous besides not exposing too much of your bankroll at one time. i guess if your being consistant about it, it should be about the same as flat betting.

No, I may pass altogether. I could bet $1 if I felt the need for action, but that's not a good trait for a gambler. You should be able to pass, even looking over many possible bets.

Doug,

I'm talking about games you've decided to bet anyway, so you have some sort of angle and presumably an advantage. I'm not talking about betting a game you wouldn't otherwise bet just to have action.

I suppose if you increase your bets on slow days you also have to reduce them on big days to keep the average the same. That would make sense to me at least.

And so if it makes sense I wonder why most people don't do it and if it doesn't make sense then I wonder why it doesn't make sense.

Journey,

Nice hit on KC. I hope you plopped it down after all.
