Question about blackberry's or PDA's

What kind of web surfing can you do with these things? Can you access any website or only ones that are programmed for PDA use?

I have an Ipaq 2215 which has pretty good web abilities but it helps a great deal if the site is PDA friendly. You can get a registry tweak so that the sites detect your web browser as IE 6 instead of the Mobile IE to give you access to more sites but you will have to do a lot of scrolling.

The only book I've made wagers through on my PDA was Intertops because they have a PDA friendly version of their website.

Getting to most websites is pretty easy.....but I found that loging in to certain websites proves to be almost impossible due to some sercurity settings on Blackberrys. I know PDA's that use Microsoft Operating systems work really well

SS - What type of PDA would you recommend? I assume not a blackberry considering you are selling yours.....anything in particular? Also, what type of monthly service do you have to purchase and what is the cost?

I recommend BLACKBERRY or TREO 600/650

The only reason I am selling the Blackberry is because I work for Canada's largest Cellular Phone Company (ROGERS) & I have a SIM card issued to me by ROGERS which gives me UNLIMITED DATA & VOICE for FREE!!!!

I bought the Blackberry on EBAY, only after I got it did I relaize that the UNLIMITED DATA I have on my SIM card is good for any GSM device EXCEPT BLACKBERRY....

It seems BLACKBERRY's require a special 'BLACKBERRY DATA' but they have the best technology for emails etc etc......

I wasnt about to pay for the 'BLACKBERRY DATA' when I have all other type of DATA for Free....

SO I am now shopping for a treo 600/650.

BUT I THINK BLACKBERRY IS THE BEST, then Treo a strong second....

ROGERS SELLS 'UNLIMITED DATA' on the blackberry for about 45$ a MONTH, USD. Then you choose whatever voice plan you want on top of that aswell.....

I get it all free though, just cannot use the DATA on the blackberry which is why I am selling it....

My wife has the Treo 650, just got it like 2 weeks ago and loves it, basically any website is there to surf, you can bookmark it and all..The thing is amazing, a computer and phone in one.
