was at the grocery store a few nights ago as i was coming out a big gust of wind sends a cart right into the side of my car leaves dent about the size of a silver dollar... a real deep dent and totally cracked the paint all over where it hit..

anything i can do? i figured not. but they do have lot attendants for this purpose and those cart corals to put the carts back into

someone mentioned I could get them to pay the repair but i doubted it

if you have insurance, take your fav key a draw a big line over the dent, call the insurance company and report vandalism..its a natural act, no one take responsability for that, no one is resposible, its just like parking your car out side of K-mart and finding your car without the stereo. you cant blame the establisment

After the post Norega made in BB's thread, I hope that nobody will assist him again.

There's an old saying in New York, "what goes around .. umm ... ughh .. don't go around again" ;)

In my part of the country you put 25 cents in the cart as a refundable deposit. Seems to keep all the carts properly coralled.

Simple idea but it's probably too socialist for the US.

man..i don't know if 25 cents is enough motivation to make me drag a shopping cart around and get beat with wind, rain, etc. bums would love it, ever see the movie, "the terminal"?....HF

Maybe not, but the kids and dumpster divers would as you point out.

Still have to get the DVD, it's on my Christmas list.
