WASHINGTON REDSKINS AT SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Kickoff: 5 p.m., Monster Park, San Francisco, Calif. Weather: Sunny, high: 63, low: 50. Washington will utilize RB Clinton Portis as the centerpiece of their offensive attack, so expect the former Miami Hurricane to post his third consecutive solid stat line. His success will create less pressure in the pocket for QB Patrick Ramsey, who should slice a patchwork defensive backfield with strikes to WR Laveranues Coles. 49ers QB Ken Dorsey will start with Tim Rattay (foot, doubtful) on the sidelines, but he's not a recommended option vs. an underrated Redskins defense. RB Maurice Hicks will start ahead of Kevan Barlow, but he's no better than a flex option vs. LB LaVar Arrington and Washington's third-ranked run defense.

NOTES: Redskins TE Chris Cooley has eight receptions, 96 yards and one TD in the past two weeks. ... 49ers TE Eric Johnson has four receptions, 28 yards and no TDs in his past two starts.
