Don´t play Royal.

Dimeplayer has become a safe book. I believe you can play there.

DIMEPLAYER is affliated with LEGENDZ, and that is a good thing IMO.........made two $2,000+ withdrawls and money was in Neteller in less than one hour. Their customer service is second to none.

MYBOOKIE am not overly familar with to be honest and have yet to play with them. Perhaps others can chime in about MYBOOKIE. Have heard no seriously negative reports from my standpoint.

ROYAL in the past has bailed out players stiffed by another book and have never had a no-pay in their relatively long history. I have always loved their sportsbook(offerings and customer service). The major drawback for me is one cannot withdraw winnings via Neteller. They are a wonderful sponsor of many contests here at the RX and have made many posters here happy.

Also, Royal is part of the Secure Gaming Alliance. You can register a Royal account with SGA and that should (theoretically) add security to your $$$.

I wouldn't play at Bookie any more.If you plan on winning don't go there. Royal is a top Notch Shop. Fish, i don't know if it was a mistake but Royal paid my withdrawl a couple of weeks ago by Neteller. Dimeplayer paid quickly too

So your saying that you withdrew winnings from ROYAL through Neteller?

Can somebody, ROYAL themselves perhaps, clarify if this rule has changed and one is allowed to do this?

Fish,

Royal has posted that they sometimes allowed clients to withdraw more than deposited through NETeller and sometimes not. Total bullshit if you ask me.

Funny thing was that they told me it was going to be by check but it ended up in my Nettler account.

I highly doubt I will play at ROYAL if they don't offer Neteller Withdrawals as a possible payment method...seems strange.

MyBookie must be safe -- they kick anyone with an IQ over 12 out. I believe GameFarce plays there.

Gentlemen ,

Regarding the question wheather or not mybookie is safe we would like to tell you a little about us so you can make an informed decision regarding our company.

. Mybookie originally was formed in 1997 under the name of Grand Central Sports (gcsports.com) We took our first wager over the phone on Thanksgiving day 1998.

Since that time like most new businesses we have had our up's and downs with the worst being March -May 2002 where some of our clients unfortunately were "slow paid".

At the time however the organization was completely restructured and the focus changed to the "recreational" market .
Over the past several years we have enjoyed enormous success and growth in this sector , catering to an active client base of over 15,000 sports and casino players in the final quarter of this year alone.
Our combined handle is rapidly approaching the billion dollar mark and we are showing growth in all areas of our operations . We have recently hired well known bookmaker Rick M to handle our risk management and to insure our profitability from the sports betting side.

We now have our sites set on the online Poker market and plan to unveil a new poker product in June /July that will be sure to turn some heads .

Please feel free to join us for our VIP SuperBowl event in Las Vegas to be held at the "Whiskey" located inside the Green Valley Ranch. Simply open a mybookie.com account (no deposit required) and RSVP .

Hope to see you there !!!

Mybookie, would you care to tell me what the "recreational market" is? I've seen that term tossed around a lot of times, but I still can't figure it out. Is that codeword for people that lose? Or is that just bettors who bet under a certain dollar figure? Or something else? Thanks.

Recretional players are guys who get up, see what games are on TV or if their alma matar is playing, basically bet for entertainment. Recreational players are NOT guys who sit in front of their computer all day looking for scalps or are part of a syndicate or just getting the syndicate plays and betting them. No shame in running a book that way and if you are NOT a recrational play, avoid those books and dont complain in the forums when you get limited or tossed by them. Just MHO.

Is BetRoyal or DimePlayer or MyBookie SAFE SPORTSBOOKs?

Are they safe as in, are they paying now and is there no visible signs of trouble?
Yes

Are they safe like "Pinnacle safe" or even close to top tier A+ sportsbook safe?
No, not in my opinion

Maybe Mybookie is on solid ground. Mike N. has always been there and he swears the turnaround is complete. Dimeplayer is safe as long as Luke says it is but a player needs to check with Luke often.

Steve, isn't there a large class of players that is somewhere in between the two extremes you painted? Someone that isn't a scalper or part of a syndicate but who does handicap and research the games and bet on games other than TV games or their alma mater and who uses a handful of books to get the best number. Seems to me this probably defines the majority of RX'ers. Is this person a recreational player?

I was slow paid by Grand Central Sports and I was lucky to get my money out. I wouldn't recommend them.
