Dear Mr ******

We note that you have only funded your account with us
by Western Union. As you may be aware, Western Union are
taking serious actions to prevent the flow of funds to
online gaming companies, as they are under severe pressure
from the US government.

Recently they called all Western Union agents from Central
America and the Caribbean to a meeting, at which they were
told that any of them taking transfers for the online gaming
industry would be subject to losing their license without
notice. We have also noticed that there has been an increased
frequency of transactions that are being completely frozen by
Western Union, meaning that neither we nor you can retrieve
the funds being sent. As a result of this we have reluctantly
taken the decision to stop taking funds sent by this method.

If you're using WU you're behind the times. Who the hell still uses WU anyway? No offense...but seriously. Fund w/ neteller and w/d neteller or check. Only way to operate if you're trying to be serious about this.

No problems down my way (Latin America). Sometime you have to take a check and then cash it later which is a pain in the azz.

WU is far from extinct, it is a necessity.

Books will just open up accounts in SE Asia, til the feds go there.

I see no reason to use WU .... at all. If you are having a good experience with them... Good for you. Just don't see any justification for using them. Just my thoughts.

WU is WAY behind on the times.
That is what is so great about them.

Completely anonymous.

Eventually they will require ID on all transactions. (not just over a dime)
It looks like this will be sooner then later.

well I dont think western union is behind the times.. at my post up books I really only post up to a dime at a time and can send under a fake name.

Any big withdraws I do via fed ex.

So tell me worldrunner, how am I behind the times? In this day and age of identity theft tell me why im so wrong in not giving neteller my social security number, checking account number, drivers liscence number, blood sample etc..

I didn't say you were behind the times...I said WU was. Listen man...I don't have a vested interest in any of the companies and I assume you don't either. No point in us arguing. I prefer to do everything online and everything as quick as possible. You have more of a chance of being a victim of identity theft at a restaurant paying w/ a Credit card. Nothing to worry about IMO. Lots of people can get your information anytime they want...

What does your first sentence say? if you're using WU "YOU'RE" behind the times.

And yes, I did start this thread as a warning or heads up to the people that use WU, which is a lot. You decided to make it a WU VS Neteller thread.

WU has some great advantages. My CC's don't work at most books. But I can use them to send money by WU. And WU is billed as purchase on my cc's. So I have found WU, to be agreat way to send coin. But for withdrawals, neteller is the way to go.

I only made the comment because it sounded like you were anti-WU with the thread... Otherwise I probably would have chosen to stay out of it. What I said wasn't meant to be anything personal "You're behind the times" etc... Just making a comment. Don't take it personally. Was meant generally... I hear problems about WU too.
