5 team youre the MVP. .ive been chasing you in that damn contest all month, you just wont let up

Garnett

I almost said lebron james. .but you have to look at the fact KG has 360 rebounds while having similar assist and point totals to Lebron. . .they both shoot it at 49% but lebron only has 180 rebounds. .you have to think about all those times KG is yanking down a rebound and then making a great play after wards to a so so team mate so they can score while piling on a ton of points himself.

after lebron id say nowitzki, then duncan

ROB WE GET A DAY OFF TOMMORROw,

I'd agree it's garnett's turn to shine over LeBron (he will get his in time). NASH AND SHAQ have made huge impacts on their teams though.

You mean the NBA isn't in lockout too?..I didn't notice.

This ballot has the feel of all the early Kyle Orton for Heisman talk?

I would have to say that as of right now it's a toss up between Lebron and Nash. Lebron has obviously turned Cleveland around, no doubt about that, and Nash has improved Phoenix. Heck, by the end of the season though, it could go to Shaq...........who knows.........

If we use the question, "which player produces the greatest good for their team?" a case could be made for Kirilinko. I know he's not the MVP, but I also know the Jazz are a very different team without him on the court.

I still think SHAQ is the man, allthough Wade has gotten better and better this season maybe how shaq made those laker guys slightly better, allthough I think in time Wade will prove bettr than KOBE.

No any other player is decisive for his team like Steve Nash is for Phoenix. Without Nash, Totals of Pho games were 195, 200 and went under most of the times. With Nash we all know the difference.
But this does not mean that Nash is the best NBA player, only the most important for an NBA team, even more than Lebron for Cavs and Tim for Spurs.

Man you got that right Immanuel! Kirilenko is the Shiznit! Of course he would never be considered. Each and every year Shaq, no matter which team he is playing for because he is always going to make that team so much better, and Duncan, will always be considered. Even though I think Steve Nash should "still" get it this year, my opinion of that isn't quite as stron anymore after seeing that team struggle also when Shawn Marion isn't in the lineup.......

If I knew Shaq would play every game from here on out, I'd say him, but i think Nash is currently.

would say nash and shaq will battle it out..

do yourself a favor though and watch sportscenter for heat / knicks highlights .

dwayne wade makes 2 great plays . one where he is fouled and flips the ball up and in. and another on a alley oop.. what a phenom..

If you wanted who purely was most important to his team, have to say Nowitzki. This stat backs it up well.

A guy whose team is +8 when on the court and almost -10 off the court. That is very valuable stuff to a team that lost a top MVP candidate and leader and now sports a better winning percentage than last year.
