How do they determine which teams play which days in the Divisonal playoffs??

The top two seeds get byes, record wise....The next two division winners play the two wild card teams in seeded order....Simple as that

thanks Jman I know that already was asking on that week after the 1 and 2 skip
how do they determine who plays sat or sunday of that NEXT week

I found it....looks like they will play sat 15th jan.... 4:30 pm est

Just depends on what tv dictates. If there is a west coast home game, they automatically get the late game slot. Other than that, whatever the league and tv thinks will get the best ratings.

thanks fair....My previous post is wrong they do not know when they will play yet....the ticket sites put that date there but then out could be the 16th...thanks for the info

As Fair stated, much is driven by the TV schedule and East Coast and West Coast time zones. But, if possible, the #1 seeds normally are scheduled for Sunday with the #2 seeds scheduled for Saturday, once again unless TV dictates otherwise.

thanks ted..I figure since both 1 seeds in the AFC and NFC and 2 Seeds also NE and ATlanta are east coast....you may be 100% right here with that thanks
