the guy is a some kind of ball player. he recorded his 15th straight double double today and yet he is only the 8th player named in nba.com post game recap.

http://www.nba.com/games/20041226/CHANYK/recap.html

is he like the most underrated player in pro sports right now ? everybody is following the nfl playoff races, the college bowls...i know that nba sucks big time but this guy deserves a lot more credit...

He could be very good for a long time.

If he stays healthy (knock on wood), Okafor could be an pro for a long time.

UConn has been very successful not because of coaching but because of recruiting

I think he is the reincarnation of David Robinson. Emeka's posture and broad shoulders remind me a lot of the admiral

19 year old Dwight Howard going to be better in long run. Putting up good statistics also and understands his role, which isnt scoring YET since he has Grant Hill, Steve Francis, and Cutino Mobley taking most of the shots.I questioned Orlando's decision to pas on Okafor for Howard, but now think it was definitely the right decision.........

he recorded one more double double against the wizz so its now 16 in a row going for 17 tonight...

another notable rookie...krstic from the nets

hes been given a chance recently and he delivered...

when playing at least 20 minutes a game he averages 14 ppg and 6.5 rpg

nets 6-2 with him playing 20+ min and 4-16 with him playing less than 20 min.

I think that statement would apply to a lot of situations ...

Like Duke, Kansas, N Carolina, etc ....

Great coaches need great players to be great coaches

The admiral was Waaaaaaaaaay Quicker. Not saying Okafor isn't good but it is a dumb comparison IMO. Not just trying to pick on you, Noreaga. Would have said the same thing if anyone had posted that. Again all things considered, I like his game a lot but not near the same type of game as the admiral.
