Remember when the NBA fined and some fans wanted to sue the Lakers years ago for benching starters while playing a meaningless final game in Portland. Imagine a Colts defense resting its starters, the Broncos might put up a 50-spot on them needing just a win to get to the playoffs.

Pack +3 at Chicago too. Funny to see Chicago giving points to any team. Starters or not playing.

Crazy lines on those games. Still not sure if the Bears should be favored, Not a very good team at all

yeah, u have to pay attention to who needs to win, who is "already set" in their playoff position, like Atlanta.....With 2 weeks to go, and Atlanta a playoff team, you would think they would be playing for all they are worth, but because of the way the NFC is set this year, 2 wins or 2 losses by Atlanta, changed NOTHING...they would still be the 2 seed, could not be the 1 seed no matter what, and could not drop to 3 either....very rare for that to happen with 2 weeks to go, but it did...

AFC is a little different, only teams locked in , were in playoffs, not set for seeding....now some are, Pitt is locked in, New Eng is locked in, Colts are now in as 3...SD, Jets, and denv/buff still battling for spots and seeds

Thanks for the info. BUT you can put together the waterboys from each team and they would BEAT the Bears!

SD is locked in to #4 seed, which is why line moved from SD -3 to SD +3. Spiros's opener was insane.

Bucs you missed something important there, Chargers have nothing to play for either. NFC teams mostly have little to play for either, except for what we should call the real first round playoff game down in Charlotte.

KC is playing for a .500 record, I think this is a big motivator for KC, Vermeil won't like to finish the year with a losing record and SD shouldn't care. Also, a good chance to see how Rivers is grasping the offense.

Yeah, you are right...I was thinking Jets could tie SD, and since Jets beat them they would get higher seed, but SD is a division winner, so they get #4 automatically.....good point
