I just can't see ND being ready to play this game. They were so inconsistent all year, and they have nothing to play for in this exhibition game. Coach is gone, new coach not yet in, so just patchwork coaching right now. Nothing tells me that they will do anything other than lay an egg in this game. Last time I can remember ND in a bowl game, they played Oregon St....and lost 51-3 or something.

Virginia -5 is about as solid as it gets however... So if you're looking or a little better side to play
hard to make a case against OSU . finished on a 5-1 run with the only loss coming to USC. in that game they actually outgained the trojans by 200 yards.
i'd have to say they finished the year as one of the better playing teams in the country.
also take into account they had 18 interceptions and finished the year # 1 in completion % against.
irish doesnt throw the ball very good to begin with.
hopefully we can find it at 3 , or possibly buy it down.

I agree with Oregon State; in fact, I'm probably going to wager on it whether or not it's the offical WSOP play. If it is, I'll put an extra $100 on it to separate my usual plays from this special one.
My capping system is a "math nerd" type system which uses no specific sports knowledge. It seems to be working well in College Hoops and the same system produces Ore. St. as a good play.
Of course I'll be happy to listen to any counter-arguments.

i realize we need to win game 1 to get to game 2 , but i would like to throw out the idea of backing Troy St. in game 2.
looking at all the numbers , it is clear to me their defense should dominate that game.
pinny has them at pk -121 , basically begging people to take no. ill at pk +111
although everybody else has troy - 1.5 . maybe they want you on troy st..
any thoughts ?
