Do any of you have a good staking plan for short price horses ie:2/1 and below.
I use kelly/2 (approx) for my horse bets and this works out well for the 9/4+ horses but is not good for the really short ones.
Though i don't bet them very often the chart shows stupidly large amounts when i do find a short price i want to back. This can wipe out profits from a few nice winners and that's what i want to avoid.
I'm at the point of not touching anything below 2/1 regardless but surely that can't be the best strategy especially if you really like the horse.
Any suggestions?
