Should I tell my wife about the Rio contest

I am honest about betting with her (she sees all the damn rotation books I get sent), but not about the amounts.
Do I tell her
a) I won 10 dimes
b) I won, but be non specific (or lie) about the amount
c) Dont tell her

I have told her I am up this year, but not how much.
Her Xmas present is a diamond tennis bracelet (circa 2 dimes) that I told her came from my winnings.

dont tell her until you roll it over. you dont need the added pressure.

its not 10 dimes until youve rolled it over. why say "i won 10 dimes" she will ask where it is and then you will say you failed to roll it over and have nothing. then shell ask you to explain what a roll over is and you will make a corny joke like you always do about dogs or something and she wont be laughing.

First, congratulations, sir.

If I am not mistaken you won 10k with 6x rollover requirement, so the answer would be a) only if you wife was a gambler and fully understood what that means. Otherwise, if you told her that you won 10k that would be a lie to some extent.

If you want share the joy of winning RIGHT NOW then tell her you won $100, do not put an unnecessary pressure on her and on yourself.

Then, when you hopefully cash out, bring her the real thing that she does understand and appreciates whatever it is the money or a nice gift.

I would probably have a hard time not telling hwer, but I think its best not to, mayb eventually...But I would wait til I rolled it over, or like someone else said you can use it for breathing room...
