Part of betting on the NBA is handling these type of swings. It's easy to go on tilt and lose your mind because of games like Boston/Mem tonight. Remember boys sometimes the breaks go our way too.

bad beats happen...that's for sure. but, i can't remember winning like that...only losing. ok, i remember one game this year that i won, which i had no business winning (i had the over in a game that went to double-overtime and went over by 4 points). but, the bad beats have to outnumber those like 5-1.

lets hear from someone who had memphis tonight. i'll feel better if someone in here benefited from my misfortune.

5-1? Maybe over the course of a month or two. But if you've been gambling for a year or more I can promise you that the "bad beats" and lucky covers evens out.

maybe its selective memory then. all i can remember is in the last 10 days...billy volek taking a safety with 12 seconds on the clock to blow the cover by 1.5 points, brian billick going for it on 4th and 10 from the 25 yard line down by 10 points with 1 minute to go in the game...catching 7.5 points, the celtics game tonight.

oh wait, i did have another one to the good...lets take you back to the 2002 world series. the angels down 4-1 (i think) in game 6...7th inning...they lose they are done. scott spezio and darrin erstad get big hits and i win my series bet.

maybe you're right.

I have my share of bad ones, but my favorite win this year was when the idiot for Miami goaltended on a desperation three that had no barring on the outcome of the game other than the cover ofcourse.

Jazz was fouled with 4 sec left and Arroyo all 2 FTs. If you look carefully..
Arroyo made like 4-4 Fts in the last 20 secs or so. That made it lay out
nicely at 36 + 60 = 96. I was like :suomi:

it was 5-0 in B7 then spezio hit the 3 run hr after dusty took out ortiz (i think - ortiz might have come out after the HR but i am pretty sure BEFORE) then erstad got the hit in the 8th. i was glad, too - for i was at G7 since the stadium is about 20 minutes up the road.
