anybody see "the manchurian candidate" with denzel washington?

my wife and i just rented it. someone who saw it please explain to me why denzel, being hypnotized, decides to shoot the wrong guy at the end. that made absolutely no sense.

I fell asleep in the theatre watching that POS. The only thing I remeber was Denzel on a beach at the end.

yeah, it was kind of a yawner. ss, you're not missing anything.

it does bother me though because i invested over 2 hours in the thing only to have that unexplained bs happen at the end.

am i just missing it or did they just have him shoot the wrong guy while supposedly in the unshakable grip of a hypnotic trance?

kevy, that's funny...we rented collateral last week. i won't ruin it for you. not the best movie i have ever seen but, it is a better choice than manchurian candidate.

World Number One, Meet the Fockers will be the next movie I see at the theater. I went to see it the day it opened, and a couple of the show times were sold out. So just went into the mall and did last minute x-mas shopping. Have heard nothing but great things about the movie.

"The Aviator" is excellent. A true Hollywood movie. Not the crap they have been putting out this past year. "Meet the Fockers" was not funny. Not my kind of movie with predictable lines.
