Maybe Indy lays down for the loss on purpose to keep buffalo out of the playoffs, knowing they can handle denver at a later date with ease. Any thoughts?

Buffalo wins and the JETS lose so the outcome of the Denver/Indy game means absolutely nothing! Rams are to fast for the Jets.:suomi:

what are you talking about? first of all, the rams suck. they have proven time and time again that they choke when they need a win. they also have the worst coach in the league.

secondly, even if you're right...the bills win and the jets lose...the broncos still need to win the game to make the playoffs, unless the ravens lose and the jags lose. the jags play the same time the broncos do so, when the colts/broncos game kicks off, denver will need to play to win to solidify their spot in the playoffs.

This one has been mailed in already. Denver will win and cover.
NFL coaches would make good poker players. Why?
Tony Dungy is telling anyone who cares to listen that his team is going to Denver to win. Nice bluff Tony. Seriously, what did you expect him to say?

After a big come from behind win last week against the Chargers including breaking a season long record (TD passes)this game will be a let down. How can it not be? Consider the facts:

1) Indy does not want to face the Bills
2) Dungy will not show Denver their 'A' game because they will likely meet in the first round.
3) Indy will put the back-ups in for at least a half
4) Denver has incentive
5) Shanahan has been there done it

I suppose you can make arguments for and against till the cows come home but you must remember linesmakers do not put up spreads like this(-9)lightly. Remember the Rams on MNF?

Final thought. We all know football is an emotional game and without it a team is not going to win. Period.
Having said that, Indy has no incentive so why should I believe their 2nd string players can beat Denvers best?
No team is that deep. Im betting on it.

i agree...we must respect the linesmaker. a couple lines are confusing...pats -14, bears -3...but, they probably know something i don't. that's how i see it.
