Win or lose, the emotions remaining in check is better for you. Stay within your means and be able to enjoy a game no matter the outcome. Even if you have a bet on it.

Maybe some of these schools with coaching vacancies should consider Paul Johnson. Two bowl games in the last two years at NAVY. Pretty impressive!:suomi:

I bet 2 percent of my total bankroll in this game.

I have the means. Whether it is a 2.00 bet or a 2000.00 bet no one likes to lose.

So far so good, this Navy team is playing spirited ball, and are MUCH MORE CREATIVE than i would expect from an academy school...However that is the benefit of the time before a bowl game....But they obviously used it to there advantage.....

Nice play calling, good blocking, and spirited play are teaming up to make for a possible upset win......and nice moneyline win at +150....:suomi:

Dont feel bad kidslick, i was going back to play navy and under for the first half and the game, and got shut out....

I was thinking like you were, lots of running, bad weather, etc...

Glad i am a slow, old man....

This drive, trying to salt the game away, is unbelievable...I dont care who you are playing against....

This has to be the longest, time consuming drive i think i have ever seen....

Right now, they have ran almost 12 minutes off the playclock, and still have the ball...they got the ball at their own 1 yard line, in the 3rd quarter, with a 12 point lead.....they still have the ball at the 20 yard line, and there is only 4:30 left in the game...LOL

That IS UNBELIEVABLE........

Thanks for sharing your insight BEFORE the game with all of us.

Easy to say you back a team after they are leading by two touchdowns.

I thought this forum was about helping eachother out. If you had such a strong feeling about Navy why didn't you tell anyone?

That might be the greatest ball control drive in the history of football, what was it 14 plus minutes?

Sorry to upset you so much baseball guy, seems so easy to do.....

I am stating what i am seeing from the game, how could i possibly know that they would be this creative, or spirited BEFORE THE GAME.....I am saying that is what surprised me so much.......

Geesh, I think the others are right.....If u attack other people for nothing cuz you lost 1 phukkin game, maybe you should quit....I hate to lose as much as anybody, but i dont attack other posters because I MADE A BAD BET....

By the way, not that I owe you any explanation or anything, but I did post this play in the board room today in our bets thread....I also had BC there as well....If u feel i HAVE INSIGHT, i also took Cal, and N. Illinois today....

Thanks for your "ALWAYS' kind words....

I called you out for a clear reason. I would not even call it an attack. How would you feel if you bet on New mex, and then saw a mod make a post about how Navy was the obvious play AFTER the game started?

Well you posted in an area that regular posters can't access.

You have the right to post or not post your picks. However, it amazes me to see such an involved moderator not share his picks with the rest of the community here.

your missing the point BASEBALL GUY....

I NEVER SAID that Navy was the obvious play...NEVER

I was commenting on how they were playing after the game started.......

I think I am allowed to do that........

Making a point, that they were playing spirited, creative ball..

NEVER SAID that i KNEW they were going to play that way, just made the point that they were.....

Ok maybe you did not say outright that everything was going according to plan. However, you did imply it.

So far so good, this Navy team is playing spirited ball, and are MUCH MORE CREATIVE than i would expect from an academy school...However that is the benefit of the time before a bowl game....But they obviously used it to there advantage.....

You said so far so good, which would imply you had NAVY.
