Chicago RX members, Any news or rumors about any possible Cubs trades/free agents?

My two favorite teams are the Seattle Mariners and the Chicago Cubs. The Mariners look like they're done spending. I was wondering if the there have been any reports of any possible Cub signings or possible trades?
Any rumors floating around in your local media about anything pending? Thanks.

Sammy Sosa staight up for Padres' Rod Beck but Cubs must pay Beck's motor home space rent (including electric bill). Could happen.
