Sorry, This is a sportsbook question, oh yeah... right room. SBR reports about Hailmary but doesn't rate them. Does SBR call them a joke without saying so ?

Are they a book with a sense of humour ? They offer a 2 % bonus. They look unprofessional to me, maybe I don't get the joke. It's not April Fool's Day, I checked !

I'm confused !

Hailmary? Translated : A wing and a prayer and you might get money out of us? Or we might make through the week if we're lucky. Of course the name doesn't mean jack as to reliability but still...

the name alone says run for the Hills.

Nicky: I agree about the name. This must be a joke. I don't expect it from SBR though ! Any other source, I'd automatically assume joke. I've never seen SBR try to be funny before !

Apex was a good name for a scam book, reminds one of Pinnacle.

Yes, SBR made a funny. I looked at the site a bit. Totally unexpected gag from this source. I could believe a book calling themseves Hailmary, I really could.

To be honest I was hoping no one would notice. If Bodog made the website I feel better. I just don't want any of our advertiser books beng compared to Hailmary, if that happens then it's the Rubber Room.

Hailmary does compare itself to Bodog but a whois reveals all. They haven't done the help section and link to Bodog. In fact it's sort of an unusual marketing trick, I think.

I know they don't teach this in the Wharton School of Business but I think a shtick like Hail Mary could actually work if it was done right. Funny stuff.
