RX WSOP team - 2nd play?

I am proposing we make it the Lions -3 today in the NFL (also +113 at Pinnacle for this bet). The positive juice would add some spending money for the trip.

This line looks weird at first glance, but Tennessee's defense has mailed it in, and the Lions are playing pretty well of late. Their main problem has been red zone efficiency against GB and Chicago, and they barely lost to Minny on the missed PAT. Tennessee's D should not provide much resistance. Detroit is really controlling the ball well with Kevin Jones now, and there is no reason he shouldn't put up 125 or more on the ground. Harrington should have a decent day stats wise as well.

Also with Volek and Bennett both questionable and banged up, Tennessee on a big losing streak with nothing to play for, this looks like a good play to me. It also looks like the bookies are asking you to take Tennessee here with 3 points at home.

What does everyone say?

Also, as a side note, living in Detroit, I follow the team pretty closely. When we were 4-2 I said we were one of the worst teams in the NFL and had done it all with smoke and mirrors. Some of my best plays this year were against the team. This may be my first time with them all year.

Bradley -1.5

Well, the good thing is that we're 1-0. The consensus was right on, and the plays that were vetoed all lost, every single one. I have a pick to suggest. Bradley -1.5 over SW Missouri St. Bradley is unreal at home, and I think the linesmakers have SW overvalued right now. Illinois St was a dog at home against them for no reason at all. ISU won by a point, but only because SW hit two threes in the last six seconds. I see Bradley having little trouble with this team and win by 8 or 10. What do you guys think? Line just came out at Oly, and is sure to go up.

right now that line is also - 1.5.

want to see how tonights game goes in new york. sac has won 3 straight on the road and seems to be rounding into form .

I have no opinion, but in general, I don't trust any NBA players or teams, and don't bet it. Seems like they play when they want to, and take nights off.

Fine by me, and I figure the line to go up even more, so the sooner the better. I don't think everyone has seen the thread, though. I know I didn't see Steeser's suggestion until way after the game had started. What does everyone think?

Did everyone get their bet down? Not sure if peteep or steeser were in on the play. I left early to drive on the bad roads to get to the Illini game, so I just left my large play on the Bradley game, and didn't put my pinny account all in. So I can make it a play, just wondering if everyone else played it.

If this is going to count as an official play, then we've only got 5 wagers to go! I had a very large play on Bradley at 5 Dimes, but didn't put my pinnacle account all in, because I had to leave early to go to the Illini game on bad roads last night. I designated one account to be my WSOP account, just for psychological purposes, because I know it's going be tough to convince myself to click "confirm" on these large wagers the closer we get to our goal. So I can make this an official play, but think we need to discuss some things for our next 5 plays. I would never take offense if anyone, for any reason, said they didn't think the play was as strong as you could find. I am no sharp, but I win consistently because I bet the things I know. I felt like Bradley was about as strong of a play as you will ever see, but it seemed like most people were like "ok, what the hell, play it." I guess we should have a rule that all suggestions must be at least 24 hours before gametime, and if anyone is going to be off the board for a few days, post it so we all know. I think we can really do this, I do, but we're going to have to be very selective, like we have been on the first 2. What do you guys all think?

I didn't see the thread but I was on the play as I saw some people in the college forum were on it. I didn't go all-in on my WSOP account either, but I will count it.
