DENVER -- Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Montae Reagor surrendered to authorities on an arrest warrant charging him with harassment and telephone threats to a former girlfriend, police said.
Reagor was released on bond after his arrest Saturday and played Sunday in the Colts' 33-14 loss to the Broncos.
The woman, who lives in the Denver area, told investigators that Reagor called her repeatedly, attempting to persuade her to drop a case in which she has sued the player for child support for a 2-year-old son they had together. Attorney Karin Chatfield said Reagor owed more than $60,000 in support.
"We were aware of the situation," Colts coach Tony Dungy said Sunday. "They contacted us. We went through the authorities and did everything right."
A message was left Monday at the office of Reagor's agent, Jeff Nalley.
Reagor played for the Broncos from 1999-02 and signed with the Colts as a free agent before the 2003 season.
