I might be off here but the USC-OKLA game is very similar to the election wagering..Early lines out had USC -2.5, and now -1 is widely available....It seems that the California Golden Bear performance may have helped out USC backers by them getting blown away in a meaningless bowl game....The confidence in the PAC10 is very low right now with players and books due to letdowns over the last 5 years or so...

BUSH started as a heavy favorite (-170) early. Then with all the public perception and assumptions towards the end BUSH finished at +280 in some places.....USC came into this game with all they hype, but that has definetly switched over to the OKLA side who might even be favored by kick-off...No real reason for the switch just loads of money must be coming in on OKLA ?????

I know almost NIL, about NCAA football...I am betting USC pretty much based solely on the Number and situation.....Sharps like SHRINK and JUDGE are all over OKLA which scares me alot..This is a fairly large play for me and I hope that my thoughts are right....Good luck to everyone...

These Bowl Championship games have so much time to gain false momentum, I can see the correlation Pete....

Both these teams are veteran teams , the only significant change is Petersen for O.U. and I think that's where the O.U. bandwagon starts...boith teams played in overrated underacheiving conferences as well....I would like to hear som ereasons why all these people are backing Oklahoma so heavily?

And when you think back to the tradition of these two schools its an awesome matchup, both teams had down time and now are both back bigtime!

My guess why OK is being backed so heavy is that is where the value was. Most people can see in a coin flip game take a few points. Pretty simple, or take the money line like they did as well. The +3 turned out to be a poor guess by the linesmakers on where the money would even out as. If they opened this coin flip game as a pick em they would have been safe these are both #1 type of teams. So now the books have to pray that USC does not win by between 1 and 3 or they get squashed. this has nothing to do with Cal or Ariz State or colorado or Iowa state, etc. etc. etc.

The similiarities were obviously quite similar...public drove up a false line just like the election...Bet the number and not the teams and you cant lose long-term.....PEACE....
