Are they short on staff or perhaps to lazy to change the actual betting line.

Whats with all the solid numbers?

Biggest example 2nite.

This kind of stuff was inevitable. Used to be only major TV games and the tournament when you could bet totals, now every insignificant game has one up. They are so incredibly beatable that Pinny is basically saying we don't want the action much, but if we put it up there in some unorthodox manner where no one is going to match us, we likely chase away the sharps to other books. Those who still play these numbers probably have no clue how to handle the ML component and end up beating themselves. Just my take on it.

Don't see how they can continue to hang lines like this too long. Someone could have played the suicide vig tonight on the Providence game to go over and played the under @ 148-149 and made a pretty penny on the middle. I've been noticing Pinnacle doing weird things regarding their college b-ball games lately outside of this as well. Personally I think Pinnacle is the best book out there right now but it seems like they are gambling/experimenting alot lately.

It seems to me they don't want to get middled so they adjust the juice instead of the spread. And it's quite obvious that the college bb total lines adjust automatically...
