They say defense wins championships! I expect the defenses from both sides to be the story of the game here. Usually in a championship game, be it college or the pros, one of the D's usually steps up bigtime. I would be very surprised to see a shootout here, although at the same time, it would be tough to bet on the under. As you said, two very explosive offenses. This could be a game where, for three quarters, we're referring to it as a classic defensive struggle. Then, all of a sudden, we look up at the scoreboard and its a 28-21 contest.
Love the Sooners both in my head (The Conference's performance in bowl games hasn't hurt) and with my heart (Bobby Stoops is a fellow-Mahoning Valley guy, and a good person at that). Wouldn't touch the over-under for anything in the world.
