Never been there, but hear Iceland is cool. Lot's of hot springs, so climate is not bad. People are friendly and love to drink. Women there are supposedly beautiful.

Going to iceland with my wife in February. She's been there before but I haven't.

Iceland is supposed to be really really awesome.

Blue Lagoon is a must and they have exceptional nightlife. Just search on google for things to do in iceland.

You flying icelandair?

Don't let this discourage you but Oslo is very expensive. Norway is beautiful in many ways and worth the trip. As usual bring money.

Worlds most expensive cities (CNN Money.com).

Too funny, asking for gambling info. Well I do know that both countries have lots of VLTs, the video lottery machines. These machines let you play a lot of different games, video poker, slots, video blackjack, and sometimes others. They are placed in all kinds of bars and restaurants. The nice thing is once you get to European countries you find the attitudes against gambling pretty much disappear. Most major cities have a casino not too far away, if not somewhere in town. Just don't expect a Vegas-style casino, as most will only be open for the evening, have few slots and mostly table games, and often have a dress code.

Casino gambling is overrated. I don't understand how you guys can even go into a casino... It puzzles me. Do you guys just walk in and hand them your money and say "Did I win?!?!"

The only persons going to casinos in scandinavia are asians and hookers.

I have been to Iceland, all the women are supermodel caliber. The ugliest woman in Iceland is better looking than the best looking woman in your city. Your tongue will hang out the whole trip at these platinum blonde babes with their soft, white skin :manwh:

Other notable point, no tipping! They don't ask for nor do they accepts tips! (at restuarants, bars etc)
