Look at it this way, they go 13-0 and don't get the National Championship. That's punishment enough.

Does anyone know if similar things have happened to this team in the past only to have them pull out the game? If so, maybe they don't deserve to play in the NC game.

Why would you fire someone, because the other team scored a touchdown?

I had Auburn as well, but it was a bad break, a real bad break...

But if VT had played with common sense, kicked the first fg, and could make a 30 yard fg, we would have lost anyway...

We got breaks as well..

I think its a real bad break, but the DB just bit on the fake.....

Happens all the time...

I doubt they will fire the coach that took them to a sec championship, and an undefeated season, Sugar Bowl victory, because VT scored a meaningless touchdown...(meaningless as far as the game was concerned)

There needs to be some sort of investigation though.

I mean it wouldnt be the first time a team gave up a touchdown in order to line the books pockets.

Conspiracy yes, impossible no.

You guys are hilarious :monkey:

No wonder why the non-bettors of the world think we are degenerates, with people asking about conspiracy theories and firing coaches after a team just goes 13-0. All because they didn't cover the spread....

us 5% sharps are loving life betting against the squares...come on every taut and their brother had Auburn...the books were getting pounded with Auburn but holding the line...it was a lucky TD, but VT really should have won the game outright...
