Reckon it was smart for Denver players to say Colts are soft?

Not sure they needed to upset that offense by calling the receivers soft. I don't think it is so much soft as being smart. The horse receivers do tend to take a knee after a catch when they are about to be hit, but thay are not big guys and they are likely reducing their risk of injury which will assist their carreer.

I was thinking Denver was a solid bet plus 10, but now I am gun shy.

As long as you're not taking Indy-10 you're fine. That's a bad # if I've ever seen one.

Yah yah...they'll probably blow the broncos out...but who gives double digits in the playoffs anyway?

It wasn't a good idea to do it...but shouldn't effect the outcome anymore than if they didn't say it.

Colts coach Tony Dungy smiled as he considered both descriptions.

"These guys have done things that nobody in NFL history has done," he said. "I'll take about 10 more 'soft' guys just like this."

Denver has been playing like crap the second half of the season. They should worry about themselves and STFU.

i think that high altitude has altered their brain chemistry in terms of sound reasoning. maybe they live near too many big power lines.

Right... I thought they had the best long-shot chance at the superbowl but I don't think they do anymore.

They have the ability to run on anyone though. Indy better be ready for that ground game. Bell & Droughns get it done.

Indeed, despite the 16/16 disparity between red/blue teams in the NFL predictably 8 of teams in the playoffs are blue. It is a travesty that Denver did not get seeded against a blue team so two reds could be promply elimated instead of just one.

blue youre kidding. what is so much better about denver this year and the colts killed them last year and the colts are better this year and have another weapon with stokley.

you cant knock out someones tooth if you cant catch them. how the hell will denver score with plummer throwing all those picks against the big play style defense of the colts?

lynch is a piece of garbage, he has to make up for his lack of coverage skills with cheap shots

I'm backing off Denver now. More I've looked at this game I think Indy can really blow them out of the building this weekend. Could see the game going either way though if Denver doesn't turn the ball over. Problem is they may turn it over 3 times.
