This game would have sold out in less than 20 minutes if it was being played in Stlouis.

<TR><TD class=content vAlign=top>The Seattle Seahawks announced today that their Wild Card Playoff Game vs. the St. Louis Rams will be shown locally on ABC-TV (channel 4 in Seattle).
Yesterday the Seahawks received a 24-hour extension to sell tickets due to the short turnaround from Sunday’s win over Atlanta to this Saturday’s playoff contest. Fans responded by purchasing 66,000 tickets over a 72-hour span and now increases Qwest Field’s consecutive sellout streak to 16, the longest since the 1992 season. The Seahawks are 12-3 at home during this stretch.
Under 1,000 tickets remain, most at $68. They may be purchased at any Northwest Ticketmaster outlet, by calling Ticketmaster at 206/622-HAWK, online at www.seahawks.com and at the Qwest Field box office.
Qwest Field boasts new banners and signage for this Saturday’s game, while Ring of Honor members Dave Brown, Kenny Easley, Jacob Green, Dave Krieg, Curt Warner and Mrs. Bev Gross Mauser will be on hand to raise the 12th Man Flag just before kickoff and Jerry Rice’s daughter, Jaqui, performs the National Anthem with her pop group, Sorella.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early due to 100% bag check at stadium gates and possible cold weather conditions Saturday morning. Early arriving fans may enjoy Touchdown City in the Qwest Events Center starting at 10 a.m., featuring inflatable games, face painting, Seahawks alumni signing autographs and performances from the Sea Gals and Blitz. Admission to Touchdown City is free with game ticket.
