Every so often, I like to ask you, the poster, how we are doing...

ALL feedback is appreciated both good and bad....

We are always striving to improve so don't be shy when suggesting how we can do better...

P.S.

I have also noticed a lot of newer posters, and I wouldn't mind hearing from some of you guys as well....

Thanks in Advance,

THE SHRINK

Pretty darn good. Only complaint I have is that sometimes things are biased on what can stay in the main forum simply due to the beliefs of moderators. I.E. Kerry stuff during election time and so forth. Try to make a better effort to be fair on all issues and not get blinded by your views on things. Great forum though.

I am satiafied to the utmost The thing I like the most about this place is how the management uses input from the player to make it better for the player. Example was getting rid of the "disputes with advertisers" room. I am sure that there had to be some pressure not to, but you guys did it anyways! Kudos!

Shrink- You think that it would cut down on traffic here? I never really thought about that angle. I am sure you have put much more thought into it than I.

Too many touts in the sports rooms, not even worth going in. To crowded with garbage. Many other sites don't put up with it. Example all caps, dollar signs, GOY's, 100 units, etc. General forum is the only thing worth looking at.

Id like to see some form of assurance that the forum site owners have detailed information on the key individual names, photos, and addresses, including USA contact information of the sportsbooks that have banners here. You can keep them 100% private if there is no problems and no stiffing. That is just a little extra leverage the players have if the owners of these shops know somebody knows all about their true identity.........

this is one great site, its my home page and Ive learned so much here.

other than that a simple spell checker feature would be nise.......

Used to have a chat room . wouldnt a chat room be good for a group of guys to talk about specific games they like and work together on a pick or 2 right up to game time.

would seem to be a faster option to share info before tip off.

You may want to see if you can allow posting for Netscape users. I use Netscape and I have to goto IE to do the little posting I'd do. I am sure I would post more if that were fixed (not that many would care!!).

Also... Shrink... You're full of it because this IS a chat room (basically)

We have several posts on the front page daily that have nothing to do with gambling. Nothing wrong with it...But it's fact. Everyday there's posts about anything from cooking to computers to surgery to JJ's cold cuts, etc.

I don't think this forum needs a chat room per se (although why not just enable the damn feature...It isn't going to cost you anything)

A chat room would be great as a meeting place during big games. Maybe 5-10 people want to get together during a playoff game and chat. What's wrong with that? Also... The RX can sponsor chats with industry people which would always bring a lot of interest.

The RX is like a big family. You know this... There's no reason why we can't chat with each other either via PM or chat room. We can't post our emails in our signatures (and signatures are disabled)

My point is... When you run a forum you should allow your users ALL of the options that the forum does. I brought this point up before but I will again. I absolutely HATE avatars. They have no point and they slow up the users computer (if they use mozilla potentially) and slow the loading of the page.

Thankfully though I have an option to disable them (which I suggest others do if they don't like them). That's my point... users should have options. That's all. I also think that it's time to re-do the layout of the page (The forum specifically).

Billpapa,

There is a thread made by the general which explains how to post with netscape. There's an option you need to change in your profile :)

The only downside is it removes formatting when you copy+paste stuff. So if you copy+paste a story from NFL.com... It only copies the text and not the pics and formatting, etc like you see other people do.

Hopefully you see this post. I'd PM you but...I can't ;)

Shrink.

Relative new poster here, but have been reading this stuff for over 5-6 years. There is a bundle of information here and the NFL and College rooms are just great to say the very least.
Now this poster has passed this site on the folks that just love it. But us Texan's aint that hard to please.
Now Your basketball picks, that another horse of a different color.
