I have a figure in mind, but will wait and see what others say............put it this way, what is the MOST you would spend to get an extra half point in this range and believe you were not taking the worst of it?

4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5, 7, 8 cents?????

you think this thread should be moved to CBB forum so the guys who frequent it can read and learn? or AT LEAST copied over there? i think so. also your nba thread should be moved to the nba thread where many can learn from it.

I feel it is worth the 5 extra cents (-110) I have to pay at Skybook compared with the (-105) I would pay a Pinny. Assuming they were hanging the same number on the game.

7 cents tops
Well, really dont know what the correct answer here is as the NBA is my expertise and not college baskets.

Believe 6 cents is the tops that i would pay.......maybe even only 5.5 cents.

Would love to hear some more thoughts from individuals who feel they have somewhat of a handle on this.

I would imagine that similar to the NBA, the number TWO is slightly more valuable.

Anyway, thanks in advance for those sharing more input.

Standard Deviation off the # I would imagine to be much higher then in NBA hoops, but I don't have a database to give a real answer, my guess 3 cents. that is just based on games I have played at skybook where the half point has either saved me or made me $.

jw- I cant imagine it being that low, but who knows.

My range is anywhere from 4 to 6 cents............with 5.5 cents being my original thought.

It is amazing to me that more people are not chiming in on this thread.

Think its a tough question is why.

This is the correct way to look at it. Anyone know where I can buy some CBB stats or even NBA stats for the past few years? I could do some Wongian cyphering on the numbers and perhaps come up with something.

Perhaps Pinnacle's price that they charge would give you a ballpark number. You could look at their price and round it down a bit.

Here is what it cost to buy half points on a couple examples at Pinnacle tonight-

UCONN/Georgetown
-4.5 -114 to -4 -124
-4.5 -114 to -3.5 -134
-4.5 -114 to -3 -149
-4.5 -114 to -2.5 -164
-4.5 -114 to -2 -179

Fla/Ark.
-5 +108 to -4.5 -102
-5 +108 to -4 -112
-5 +108 to -3.5 -127
-5 +108 to -3 -142
-5 +108 to -2.5 -157
-5 +108 to -2 -172

Looks like they're charging 10-15 cents per half point so perhaps a half point is worth 5-8 cents depending upon where it falls.

Like mentioned, my guess is around 5.5 cents per half point.

Know the NBA exactly in my own little world of stats, but just guessing on the NCaa.
