Is everytime you bet an Under in the NBA and the damn game goes into overtime and still only covers by a handful.

Nothing worse than that. you spend your time capping the game... You're sure the linesmakers are way off.

The game is going into the 4th quarter and you're counting your winnings and bam... Games goes OT and still barely covers the over.

Whats even worse is when it takes DOUBLE ot to cover the over when you have under.

Are there any books that take 4 quarter bets? These overtime covers are giving me grey hairs :D

Just that this is like the 5th game this year that I've played at Pinnacle where the total was way off...I Try to take advantage of it and the fricken game goes OT. Bucks Raptors tonight is the game I'm talking about. Even had steam that took the game way above what I originally would have bet. I was liking the game at 203. Then it goes 205 which is way too high for these two teams.

But of course... OT kills me. If I weren't so drunk I wouldn't have made the post in the first place

That's what I hate about the 2nd-half unders. One team gets behind by 10 or 15 and starts fouling the team in the lead to stop the clock. OVER!

Yah...I play them for the same $ amount as every other play so it's not that big of a deal it's just upsetting that you can be so right on a side (total) and have it go so wrong. That's the worst part of gambling on sports IMO.

Since everyone else seems to take their turn sharing their frustrations publically I thought I'd try it just once.

Man, I dont know how you do it.
NBA totals are really tough to watch. Your mind is always going through the math....50 points a quarter, 100 points a half...it can play tricks on you.

And then those final 2 mins come and you are ready to pull your hair out.
NBA totals...I DONT love this game.

Why bet an under on a "game" total when overtime is a possibility? :think2:

1st half unders 4 me please. Players sip tea when the shot clock is turned off approaching the half, an important time to some who may need 2 baskets for an over. And if he hits to strike your number, all they do is head to the locker room and break the tie later and you get your money back.

And if you want a real bad beat, head to the soccer forum.

I've done a lot of math concerning this. I'm better off playing the better # w/ the better juice at pinny than I am laying -110 at a place that still pays me the under if the game goes into overtime.

Only downside is I have games like this that were under that went over in OT. Had one earlier in the season that went over in the last 30 seconds of double OT. that was tough...

Anyway.. The math is right...better to take the lower juice if you're betting same amount every game (which I am for the most part...at least in the NBA)
