Isiah's fault

Isiah Thomas is to blame...Marbury will never win. Look at what he did in New Jersey. They were loaded but he was a cancer. They get rid of him and bring in JKidd and win the NBA Championship.

The Knicks wouldn't win with Red Aurbach or John Wooden as their coach this season.

On Jim Rome yesterday he offended his players.

He said unfortunately he inherited alot of old players with large salaries. He said he had to fix that. Can't imagine he inspired them to perform ata their peak for him.

The problem with Marbury is he's one of those players (there's about 300 of them in the league) that are the same player now as they were their first day in the league. He hasn't improved one bit. Hasn't added one element to his game. He's the same as his first day.

Too many players in the NBA like that

marbury was a cancer with the nets and the suns....both programs have improved significantly since he has left town.

I thought Jamal Crawford was the final piece to the puzzle, no?

One of the Bulls best moves there.

No cap room?

I agree that he inherited a bad situation...but the moves he has made are ridiculous to say the least. Building a team around street legend perimeter players may make for fun one on one matchups to watch...but you will never win games.

Take that team to Ruckers and you may have some wins...in the NBA, you need solid post play.

Bad moves

MikeD...I am not basing my opinion strictly off Marbury. Marbury will never win, that is a given. His teammates hate him. He is selfish. He has proven that everywhere he has been.

As for Isiah, if they don't have any money (which they don't), why would they go after Carter (another perimeter player), and Crawford (a bigger version of Marbury)? There are a ton of players out there that would have helped them a lot more than Crawford. Thomas LOVED Crawford and would have given his left nut for him.

I agree he inherited a bad situation as far as the cap...but look at what he is going after. None of the players he is chasing (and signing) will help them win. If they are going to lose, why not cut salary and get rid of some cap room? What good does it do to lose and still have all those salaries?
