Despite the fact that I am knowledgeable enough to win good money in a certain sport, anytime I have a bad beat I end up betting other **** that I have no bussniness betting because I suck at betting NBA and NFL. I am great at building myself up but when I build up to much the problems begin. In my first 2 years I didn't have much back luck. I turned 800 into 5800 my first year then won 21k the year after. Pretty much all in boxing. HOWEVER, I left to much of this $$$$ in my accounts and did stupid **** losing back 11k in the first 5months last year. After I lost most of my $$$ that was in my accounts I started back with 500 and won 16k over the last 5 months (I took a 2 month rest period after losing that 11K) so I had a winning year. I won 4k in the early part of this week, took a bad beat and bet stupid **** again and lost 12k :WTF: I am an idiot. I do realize that I let my accounts get to big and get reckless, that is my main issue. Don't be an idiot like me (this is just venting):hitting:

To reaffirm your statement made at the start of this thread, the answer is ................................yes.

That being said, it sounds like you know your stuff in your areas of expertise. So learn from your mistakes and stick with what you know. When the urge to have action in other areas of sports betting hit's you, get your a*ss in the kitchen and learn how to cook. Better yet, go spend some time helping others, organizing your stuff, working on being nice to some hottie, or just go to the scrub and tug joint and get your horn shined. :manwh: :think2:

LOL:toast: A laugh is always good on a shitty weekend like this. I was thinking about it though and I think a lot of my self destructive gambling happens when I have to much $$$ in my accounts. When I work my way up I don;t do stupid ****. When I get over about 10k I start doing dumb ****. I take some $$$ out but usually not that fast and in small increments (around $1200). Oh well, live and learn. I called myself dumb though because this is the 2nd time I have done this :WTF: At the end of this month I will likely pull out the rest of my funds (except about 500-1000), and see if I can build myself up again. For some reason, more $$$=less discipline for me.

Maybe you should consider a local bookie.
Your discipline and money management skills would certainly change if you had to face the man every week.

Valdosta...just be careful and do not chase after a loss....IMO if you do that , you can then attempt to recoup your $$ on your sport of expertise

good luck sir

Locals don't do boxing. Well, not my dad's good friend who is the only bookie that I know personally. Having a local would make my problem worse under those circumstances.

Very true about chasing. It's kind of funny that the couple of times I chased I looked to do it in a different sport. The not so funny part was of course I lost. Strange that I follow all popular American sports but can only do 1 well.
