Attention All Squares...

I just got a phone call from my brother in law who happens to be the biggest "SQUARE" I have known when it comes to sports betting. Although I love him a lot and we are close, he tends to bet even bigger on playoff games, and especially the SuperBowl...

Well, he told me that since both UNDERDOGS covered and WON yesterday, he was betting both FAVORITES today since they are DUE...

Although one never knows the results until they go final, if you are thinking the same way, you may be greatly surprised and disappointed when the games are over today...

I hope there aren't many of you thinking like this or are you?

I think both match ups pit teams going in two different directions.

The sports books tend to inflate the numbers on favorites during playoffs...

So, I don't see any VALUE betting on them....

after seeing 13 straight favorites win to start last years NBA playoffs, after seeing a dog win SU 1 of every 3 the 5 years prior, I have learned not to look at these things.

but i used to, i will shamefully admit it.

Shrink, I have to agree with you 100% earlier in the season when they played at GB the line was 4. and GB won 34-31. the line is big time inflated.

ok sorry if I hit a sore spot.I dont middle either. but if you bet this game at -4.5 it seems that if it went to 7.5 it would be a ideal spot to do it. but hell I dont know . if I feel strong enought to bet a side I stick with it.
