He sure beats about 20 other starting QBs in the league. Amazing the level a QB has to play to for consideration as just being "decent" these days.

Good point ID. Hell of an effort by Jake. For my money he is 2nd tier but better than at least half the starters in the league. Ask any Bills fans if they could use him.

I just made the point there are probably only 10 guys better than him. The NFL is full of ineffective stiffs, or so it seems. Reality is every QB benefits from good running game and a good line of course. On days where Jake is asked to be a part of the offense he is very effective. When he is asked to be the offense, like today, he struggles at times. He definitely needs the play action and the balanced offense to thrive, but when you are down 21-0 before you know it, it is going to be rough for anyone, Brady and Manning included.
