I visited and opened an account with Sportsbook.com. Well, their site looks
good and they're listed on the London stock exchange, hiring top models
introducing in flash on main. I have spoken to their LiveChat and they
sounds professional and response is fast.

I almost nearly make a 2 dime deposit by neteller but a light bulb suddenly
strikes that suggest I should do a search on Rx before making deposit.
Well, past comments on Rx and my impression on Sportsbook.com is totally
different and that gives me a CRING and a pat on my back for holding back.

Anybody had an account and playing actively with sportsbook.com might
be able to help by re-evaluating sportsbook.com ?

played there last year, very slow payouts. they take 48 hours just to approve them. they will audit you anytime you want money, thus the 48 hours

I personally have found them okay and not been so-called "audited". but I think I have just been lucky so far.

They are not listed on the LSE. Their parent, sportingbet.com is listed on AIM which is the London market for third liners. However, sportsbook.com have seen fit to distance themselves from sportingbet when it suits them - i.e. when they have problems with a customer - so I suspect there may well be scope in the setup for sportingbet to walk away from this book should the need arise.

The general opinion of folk who have had cash withdrawals "audited" is that this whole process was just one big scam in order to delay paying. For example, they send in some documents as required. Some days pass. Then they are asked for more. Some days pass. Then they are asked for more, perhaps including ones already sent. And so on.

My policy for the 2 years I have been there - and I have beat them pretty regularly - is to make small withdrawals of $500 to $800 often. It appears to be big withdrawals which have to go through the scamming process.

I've played with them for many years and have had no problems with large payouts. They do require one time scans of ID/credit cards if you use a CC to deposit, but after that, they are pretty good about things. I do gamble large amounts of money so I'm on their "platinum" level of customers...dunno if that really makes a difference, but I never have had problems with payouts (even in excess of $15K)

I have made dozens of withdrawls with them - never audited, never needed to send copy of credit cards, almost every time fed-ex comes in 2 or 3 days. one time it took a month becuase of some problem but back then I requested mailed checks . not a bad book at all.

I have never understood the negative publicity they get, I was never on internet before a couple years ago and the only offshores I knew off were sportsbook.com, infinity sports, and nasa, I have had accounts at all 3 of those books since the 90s and never once have I not been paid I did have a wait one time at sportsbook of over 48 hours but all in all these books have been great! Since I came to the internet I have deposited at most of the big names and the only one I have found that I like in the least is olympic, I mean most of the books online you cant even buy points or if you can its only 1 point!

sportsbook.com is way up on the list for me good luck to you!

wow, im really surprised to see this thread.

been with them for what seems like ever. no problems, no hassles. great service, awesome pay times. etc.

submitted a payout friday night, received it via free fedex at my doorstep this morning.

very impressed, and i dont plan on changing unless something unthinkable happens. i would have no reservations about suggesting that book to anyone of my friends.

speaking of which, about 5 of mine use it also, and all have had no problems.

Lots of different bets, they will pay (eventually), and horrible customer service.

I like them. I've beaten them, and they have paid me promptly. But I won't be posting up with them again. I have heard that if you get audited, it's a nightmare and takes up to a month to get paid. Way too many good books that pay within an hour. But I will give them props for the way they treated me.

Been with them for six years and they have improved a little but still have a long way to go. They pay and have some of the best props around. When I say best I mean beatable. They send me stuff every year too. Like for Christmas $500 from circuit city. They also have a live chat a few nights a week. One is with customer service manager and another is the head linemaker. I vent sometimes there. For some reason they still cannot get the software corrected they have a max of a nickel on certain bets but yet if the line is -120 instead of letting you bet 600/500 they give you a max of 550.00/458.33

BTW when your name is sportsbook.com I dont think you have to worry. They have a ton of square business and get tons of traffic.

Been with them for over 3 years, and always paid promptly. Though few and far between.

Only problem i have with them is the website being down alot for big gambling days, ie superbowl, NCAA tourney, etc.

Live Chat customer service is nice, but via phone sucks!

Krackman, that's funny you mention the name. I know quite a few squares, good guys, but total squares. They all give me the same answer and say they play at sportsbook.com. They don't even know other books exist. But it's across the board. I've been in Vegas several times chatting with strangers near the betting window during March Madness. Sportsbook.com every time, and them alone. I guess they were pretty smart for getting that name first.

I would NEVER use them

I had a problem with them this year - and though it wasn't a big deal, it just got on my nerves.

My average play is in the $500 range. I must have made $500,000 worth of plays there and paid them about $30,000 in vig. I probably lost $20,000 there - it was the one book that I could never beat, so I stopped playing there.

Then last year, I made a deposit for a couple of thousand and my account was frozen. They claim that I made a false Western Union transaction for $350 - three years ago. WTF. I tried to tell them to look at what my wagers were, what amounts I deposited and what I withdrew and that if I was going to do something with Western Union, wouldn't it stupid of me to just do it for $350???? Now, as much as the $350 didn't matter, I said to take it out of my account - they wouldn't do that. I had to send in ANOTHER $350 to clear that WU or I would lose access to the $2,000-$3,000 that I had in my account.

The worst thing was not the dispute - it was their attitude. When I tried to show why it was not like me to scam them out of $350 when I had never deposited anything less than $2,000 or withdrawn anything less than $5,000, their reply was that they were "traded on the LSE". Talk about having an attitude problem. They wouldn't listen at all!!!!!

I was a crook. They were God. I had to deal with it.

They are good book. They pay - but if you ever have a dispute with them, I want people to remember what they read right here.

They're on my personal DO NOT TOUCH list due to multiple, independant complaints I have monitored. I don't have time for a write-up. That's the gist.

everything is a LIE!!!

Everything that sportsbook .com tells you is a lie I used to work there and im telling you we were trained to lie to you guys , first of all sportingbetusa,sportsbook.com,winnershill,mysportsbook.com,linesmaker.com,playersonly
bubbascasino etc all are the same company located in the same building , with the same CS personel with the same manager and owner.

when u fall into an "audit" witch by the way is a cheap 2 wall room with 8 half stoned clerks (audit dep) is not to investigate the funds nor nothing like that it is just a simple excuse to make some time for them to gather the money from other looses so they can pay you , besides that they had have a lot of problems with clients credit cards beacuse of the kind of personel that runs the CS dep they are a bunch of 18+kids that are screeming to buy sh*t in the internet and sometimes they abuse of the clients CC .:suomi:
