I love prepaid atm as a method for depositing and withdrawing funds, but more and more books are doing away with it. First Fidelity was one of the first books to offer PPATM, and they quit using it back in October. When I asked why, Freddie Harris told me that he was owed $200,000 by them. He said he believed they were safe for customers to use for the time being, but felt more and more companies would get burned, and he thought they would be in trouble by the New Year.

Didnt know if that was an excuse or the truth, but since then, it does seem like PPATM is not a favorable option among the books. The only book which I know of that still uses it to both send and receive is Carib. Payouts are almost instantanious, but I'm a bit shy when it comes to using the option at this point.

If you use Carib, Neteller is $20 per withdrawal. PrePaid ATM and Central Coin are free, so you have to have one of these two to avoid fees. I would still use PrePaid ATM for Carib, but would withdraw at the cash machine the same day.

Neteller is still the Cadillac of the cash transfer operations. Traded on the London Stock Exchange ... you can read their quarterly reports at the Neteller web site. They are making a fortune, which means your money is safe.
