Whoever the book is using to process the transaction. Some are still a little sneaky.

Processor is one obstacle...EFS usually finds a way to get away with it. I know if I ever use a CC it wouldn't be a problem at the sportingbet family of books.

I see. One of the reasons I asked is because I love to deposit this way, of course it is sooo easy, BUT I don't want any problems down the road from the book with some BS about a CC deposit...

It's the CC companies denying it, not the books. I wouldn't even try it.

Why wouldn't you trytrytry it?
Sherman: I wouldn't use that method because it's bad money management, I only tried it maybe twice. Refused. If accepted you are paying 18-21 % interest, for B/r money. OK if you pay quick, but not a viable method. Chargebacks are a reason book may not want it.

I prefer a method where you can withdraw fast from a book to NT, or keep some money ready at NT, to jump into an attractive bet at a little used book.

Amounts don't really matter. Let's say BR= 10k . I'd like 10% sitting in NT, or easily moved there within hours, or minutes preferably.

Some book , say Jazz, has a nice line, you want to grab, you can grab it fast. All books accept deposits quickly. Pull your $$$ out of Pinny, comes within 10 minutes usually.

CC's are bad. WU is bad. Comes out the way it goes in, at a lot of places, WU is ridicrurous with fees. I hate Paypal. Neteller man !

My opinion, but few can dispute this logically. Never use WU, to make a deposit, it will bite you. KISS, Keep it simple stupid. Neteller is the standard. I don't like a book that doesn't like NT.

Bodog doesn't like NT, they want your checking account number, Screw them ! I played there about a week, see ya.

Move your money as needed, but don't get screwed doing it !

Sherman: No substitute for NT, none. No excuse not to use it, just be aware initial deposit takes nearly a week to clear, and subsequent withdrawals from checking to NT ( no fees). After that WD's from books are fast ( if good book).

It's the standard method !!!!!

They discount Fed-ex checks to you.

Must have outlet to deal with books, no viable substitute !

Sherman: I'd be willing to discuss this stuff with you, over the telephone, via e-mail, possibly at a local casino, but least likely option. I won't post my E-mail , or phone number here, but I'll talk with you if you're inclined to do so.

Maybe you are willing to post such info, I'm not.

I'm not sure how efficient the RX machine is at matching folks. I don't want sex with you, but will talk sports with you. I'll speak or write to you.

On the contrary, it's bad money management NOT to use a credit card.

If you've got the bankroll, and the self-discipline not to gamble away money that you don't have, then credit card is one of the best ways to deposit.

Two primary reasons:

1. Rebates / frequent flyer points ... this can approach 1% to 1.5% of the deposit amount, depending on the card.

2. Protection in case the book goes tits up ... you can do a charge back on the card for the amount of your initial deposit.

Now some books don't give a bonus to credit card users, so in cases like that, Neteller would probably be the best option. But at a site like SportsBook.com, where you can deposit with Visa, and withdraw via some other method, you would be a fool not to use a credit card.

The paypal debit card works at almost all sites. You get 1.5% cashback from every transaction using the paypal debit card as well
