"I think they're not as good as at the beginning of the year, not as good as last year," said Vanderjagt when asked about the Patriots pedigree on Sunday evening. "And I think they are beatable. We have to play well. There's no question about that. But I think we're going to come back [to Indianapolis] Sunday night, headed to the AFC title game. I think they're ripe for the picking."

Hey I know mike said that stuff at the pro bowl, but it sure as hell did light a fire under Peyton's ass. I think he's right again here.

I saw the comments on ESPN from a few of the patsys and I see they didnt like the comments too much, but Mike is on the money here.

the pissed offness from the Pats players is just more good news for Colts backerssss$$$$

I'm so glad this is the last game of the weekend, it sure is the most anticipated match up.

His FG miss cost the game last time.

Dante we're talking about the Patriots here. if it were the steelers I'd be worried.

what do the pats do after getting fired up? find more crap in the rule book they can expose?!

1st SB the tuck rule
2nd SB the bump after 5

just win a SB without a hoard of question marks patriot losers thats all I ask, which means they wont win it this year.

New England is better "Team". Colts can get hot though. To be the best, you have to beat the best even outdoors. Turnovers will likely decide the outcome.

whether its a kicker, punter or whomever why should a player have to watch or apologize for comments when he is touting his team to win? Is he supposed to say that the other team will beat his? No, of course not. Forget humility or modesty, confidence is important.

My first instinct was to go with the blue state, but the more I think about it Peyton simply does not play like a red stater. He looks like an imbred but is quite possibly the greatest player since Barry Sanders or Jerry Rice in their primes. He would have beat the Cheatriots last year if they didn't mug every receiver in white and blue, and with the new Illegal Contact calls and the depleted NE secondary I can't see them losing. The weather should be a non-factor.

Vandy can say whatever he wants -- Peyton will bail that little turd kicker out.
