Boys always at this time of year and other times when you get in over your head with your locals there are ways to trim your figure down with your man. Most bookmakers with work with you and not against you.

Rule #1!!!! Don't fukkin run or try to con your man or your done, he will hurt yo period.

Rule #2!!! If you do not have money to pay you set up a meeting in a diner and explain your situation whatever it may be and do not LIE!!! Bookmakers know when you are bull shitting. He will then throw some type of payment plan on the table and you will work with it and if you think it is still too much be honest nd tell him and he will listen. They rather have slower lesser pays and no violence than NO pays and roughed up ribs.

Rule #3!! You also have option in which I took many times working off your debt by means of errands, cutting your man's grass, snow, painting, ect or answering the phones and he will then chop off your debt until finished.

Rule #4!!!!Do not bet when your paying off a reduced settle figure at another shop he will find out and then your in deep ****. When debt payed you may resume gambling.

Bookmakers provide a service and are here to make money and in no way hurt or threaten you if you do not have cash. They are good guys just looking to make a buck.

Please do not run from them when you owe or bull **** them, we all jockey down credit card companies with reduced rates and you can do with your local as long as you are legitamately broke. They are businessman and getting less and slower is better than getting stiffed period.

Good Luck

JJ, I can remember about 30yrs ago I went overboard with this local bookie, I was a nervous wreck, it was a monday and I owed like $600 dollars and I was flat broke. sraighten up day was Tuesday. I couldnt sleep at all Monday night, when I got up the next morning, I said its time to go tell him the truth, and I did. he had me doing landscaping, mowing the lawn running errands like picking up the goldsheet for him and passing out schedules for his customers.I did it till the debt was paid off. I went to work for him after that, clerking for him.

Aren't those days over with? I don't see any bookies trying to take action in getting someone to pay now~a~days for the fact there are too many stiffs out there that will simly turn their bookie in...........

I know the guy down here I have talked about JJ just lets it go and they are history betting with him. I suppose things may be different up North. Just seems as if bookies today would be more hesitant in coming after someone for the fear of being turned in/busted.......

Kinda hard to turn someone in.

When you have a craftmens screwdriver in your throat. Just ask for terms. I know some locals that will give you a reduced settle up if you clear your whole balance. Owe $800 pay $500. Most local guys look at it as they will see you again next week so what the hell. Just don't call him on settle up day if you are ahead after doing this the following week. Let them remind you that you are a head and ask when you are comming to collect.

I actually learned my lesson from the guy in this thread called Dimer. I treid fukkin with him twice because I figure I am from NJ and I could outsmart the hick.

Here is the story and it was fukkin classic but my rib cage did not like it........... 4 Years a go I was down $3200 going into Sunday NFL late fall and I had no fukkin money to pay him but he did not know. I conned him I was making big money in streets selling hot furs and the ********** beleived it. Anyway get this one....

I called in 5 games on sunday for 300x each but here is the fukkin best part, I give my name Mario for Smokey and I change my fukkin voice so it sounds like someone else that is not even close to my voice.

Why did I do this??? Well boys I am sharp or or I thought I was. It was a win win for me/ If I lost on Sunday it would of not counted because my voice was different if he played the tape back and I would say it was not me.

I went 1-4 and lost another $4800 or so. I bet more than usual because of my elaborate scheme so I figured I had it covered and would just negotiate the original red number from Saturday only and even chop tha figure down.

So now I am down like 10 Dimes and we go over my sheet on Monday at the deli and boys I put on a fukkin show. I said Sunday?? I did not bet Dimer!!!! He said sure you did Mario and I said Play the fukkin tape so loud it sounded great.

I am stroking my fukkin pecker now because I think I got him fooled. He goes bac and plays the tape and says Mario there was a mix up and it was not you!!!

I was fukkin cumming now and had a free shot at him and would try this again down the road. I go my way with a reduced settle of $2300 (gave him some bull **** I needed a cavity taken care of)

He then one week later must of cross checked everyone and could not find out who it was. He must of new someone at phone company and they pulled up my phone records and they got me on the call to his book with my phone number and my apartment at the same time of the fukkin tape.

He comes back and said I fukked him. He and another guy cracked me in the ribs 3 times and I went down and said I will have every dime in 2 weeks.

I had to get a loan at bank and pay him all of it. A lesson I learned.

We became friends after that and to this day I still bet with him and still slow pay him at times but no more fukkin games with scams.

I thought I had sure system but he was sly and wily and had contacts all over the place.

I almost pulled it off.

Good lesson Boys

Coach, the only way to get out of this sort of debt is to bet

Bird%20in%20cage%20sm.jpg

birdcages with the local across the street and hope to get lucky (and that local #1 does not find out).

All the professionals I know use this technique.

Coach,

Only the guys from the Northeast (include Boston/Providence/Hartford) are true gamblers and bet the board everynight

Everyone else pretends to be so-called "handicappers" or even worse "middlers" or "scalpers".

You can't win if you don't play, Son.
