We have a local radio program that talks movies and the host had Troy as his worst movie of the year. That can't be a good sign General

Watched it the other night. It's worth the watch. Not great but not bad.

Was this the Brad Pitt movie with the big wooden mule? At first I thought it was a Kentucky Derby flick -- but even worse, it was a bunch of Mediteraneans all orgied up inside that horse.

Makes sense, the spas in ancient Greek were notorius for it's all male GameFarcing.

Owner of store said it was as good as Braveheart. That is insane. He must have really needed the sale.

It's worth seeing...it's ok but it's not completely historically accurate either... Like Gladiator.

Gladiator was a classic. Troy is just ok. But you are right on the historical stuff.

General:

You're in the wrong profession. You should be a movie critic. You're tough.

The movie could not keep my attention. Doesn't mean it's all bad, but lacking something.

How can you watch a movie and post at the same time? I would give it a 5 or 6 out of ten.

I know you weren't asking me... but many people can multi-task ;)

I watch movies all the time... lots of them I've seen several times... But I never sit and do one thing. I will watch a movie on one TV and have the basketball game above it on mute or while I'm playing a video game, etc.

I'm almost always playing a game and if I'm not doing that I'm watching a movie while the games are on.

I've found that if I do something enjoyable while I'm watching the games my stress level stays consistant (low). Gamblers who sit and stress on a game they have action on are going to die young. Stress kills.

FYI

A lot of the movie was filmed in Cabo San Lucas.

Watch a movie, eat a pizza, wash dishes, laundry, shave, talk on phone. Still find plenty of time to post. :digit:

"Troy" HAS to be better than "Alexander"...I've seen better film on teeth. I'm going to checkout "Troy" this weekend. I saw "White Noise"...very creepy, good film.
