There were rumors about moneybookers relationship with gamebookers.
As their website are 90% identical. I have use moneybookers for afew
transactions. What I can say really BAD customer service.. they take
2-3 weeks to reply a simple email. Yes, 14-21 days to reply an simple
email... that was like 5 months ago though.

I would advice you to send an email to support@moneybookers.com to
ask some question just to try it out.. :nono5:

I haven't seen much on either company. Pinnacle uses them so they must be OK, right.

Gamebookers and Moneybookers are sister companies, having the same parent company, Gatcombe Park Ventures.

I can confirm that Moneybookers' service is still bad...a couple of weeks to receive a simple e-mail is too much.

What do you think? How's the service?
I use it sparingly. I originally set it up two or three years ago, mainly because I could set it up in Canadian dollars.

Neteller is better for a number of reasons ... if you can fund the book with Neteller and/or MoneyBookers, just use Neteller.

If you can't use Neteller, and need to use MoneyBookers, I would make sure that you just use it to get money from Point A to Point B .... I wouldn't leave any kind of substantial money sitting in MoneyBookers for an extended period of time, as I have seen anecdotal stories of people having their MoneyBooker accounts hacked - I don't know how true these stories were, but I don't take any chances.

Webmoney is based in Russia...it's probably safe, but I believe Neteller and MB are better options.

I have a Moneybookers account in £ sterling. I find it convenient to move money from the UK. It has the advantage that payments can be made in all major currencies at Central European bank rates. I don't recall ever communicating with Moneybookers by email and have had no problems running my account. Deposits to Pinnacle are instantaneous.

Unless you have a particular reason to hold an account I see no reason not to stay solely with NETeller.

WebMoney is great. They are cheaper than Neteller and more secure than almost any other online currency option due to their "Keeper" software. Unfortunately if you use multiple computers the Keeper software can bite you on the ass a little by making it difficult to access your account (it has to be installed on the system and you need security certificates installed in your browser's cert store.) OTOH the Keeper system makes it virtually impossible to hack into a WM account without having both the passwords and physical possession of the computer involved.

WM is easy to fund straight out of your bank account (and defund back to your bank account) and there are no monthly fees, storage fees, etc. Also, an account can be opened and used without having to file ID with the company, which is a big plus to privacy-minded users.

I never had any problems using moneybookers but I have heard a few stories of slow payouts. It is probably not necessary to have an account there anyway if you use books that cater to N. Americans.
