I have been betting for 5 years now and last night I cried for the first time, I had the PHX/UTA 1st half over 104.5, and 105, for close to 10 dimes, with 3:16 left they were at 97, a lock considering it is phx playing, with 2 minutes left they are at 102, they manage to go 1 for 8 from the field the rest of the way and no freethrows, eventhough both teams were in the bonus, just missing wide open shots after wide open shots, and ended up at 104. I cried like a little ***** for 2 minutes, then I went and got drunk. Any other cry babie out there.

good story,

again, it is relative though, for me 10K would make me cry because I am a 100$ to 500$ bettor.... for someone else 10K they would laugh it off....

how much is your average bet compared to this bet?

I avg 3 to 5 dimes a bet, I have been on a cold strek lately, and needed that win, it's not even the amount that hurt but to have one of the highest scoring teams that the league has ever seen do that is what hurts.

bad streaks are heart wrenching....

sorry about that....

during baseball season I went on a stretch where I went 1-18 betting mostly dogs in MLB during a stretch after the ALLstar break where the favorites were just cleaning up....

I know what you mean about the bad beat..... there was a thread on the WORST bad Beats...... many funny stories....

hope things improve for ya :103631605

Look I feel bad for you and don't take this the wrong way, but if you are going to cry about a bet you seriously shouldn't be betting. If it means that much, its a problem. I've gotten pissed and angry at myself or others at a bad beat, but that's gambling. You have to have that attitude....SO stop betting.

Consider investing 3 to 5 dimes on a grammer and spelling class, moron.

You da man kiss 1, another jackass who likes to talk run his mouth over the internet, who cares if I spelled the words wrong did you not understand what I wrote, last time I checked the RX software did not come with a spell check, may be you should check all the posts and grade them based on spelling because that is what's relevant. get a life. I hope that is how you spell relevant cause I don't want to look stoopid. :finger:

What is the definition of grammer?

Is it a relative like grandma?

Is it an alternate spelling of grammar?

Inquiring minds want to know.

thats what really kills poopah, the turnaround......it's not only that u didnt win the $10,000 its the $20,000 diffrence that kills!

similar to basketball, it's a 4 point turnaround, not just that you had the ball stolen or missed the layup etc....

The same crap happened the night before, I had det/nj 1sthalf over 83, and they scored 7 points in the last three minutes and went to 82, including no points the last 52 seconds, games that I win I win easily but my losses are heart breaking.

I can't say I have ever cried over a bad beat but have wanted to a few times. That Suns/Jazz first half was brutal.
