i think I get this.

Dear MANSION Member,
Have you ever wondered why you can only post offers on a betting exchange equal to your available funds? If your offer does not get matched by another bettor, you can find yourself watching the game without a piece of the action.

The solution: the patent-pending MANSION mLine™. Now you can make offers of up to 100 times your available funds. For example, if you have 1,000 in available funds, you may now post offers on MANSION Exchange up to 100,000.

How it Works

On MANSION Exchange, you are able to browse and accept offers posted by other MANSION members or propose offers of your own. MANSION opens the events and members set the prices by posting offers on either side of an event. Other MANSION members who wish to accept these propositions match the offer by clicking the displayed price and volume. If you do not see an offer you like, you are able to post offers of your own.

Here is where we made it interesting.

Rather than being limited to posting offers with only the funds you have available, MANSION mLine™ lets you post offers up to 100 times this amount. As your offers are matched, your account is debited for the matched bets. Any remaining offers that exceed your available funds are automatically removed from the Exchange. Offers of individual volumes less than your available funds remain posted.

You may never match more than your total available funds, but you can use 100 times your available funds to offer on one or more markets.

Helpful Hint

If you want offers posted in several markets, keep your offer volumes to less than half of the funds you have available. This way, when one of your offers is matched, you will have enough funds to cover any one or more of your remaining offers.

Remember, when using MANSION mLine™, your offers are cancelled when your available funds are less than the proposed volume of your posted offers. Please Note: amounts in examples are currency independent.

Example (offers less than 50%):

  • Member has available funds of 1,000.
  • Member posts 20 offers at 300, 10 offers at 200 and 5 offers at 100.
  • 3 of the 300 offers are matched leaving the available funds at 100.
  • Only the 5 offers at 100 will remain posted and all other offers will be cancelled.
Example (offers more than 50%):

If your offers are greater than 50% of your actual available funds, only one of your offers may be matched.

  • Member has available funds of 1,000.
  • Member posts 20 offers at 600.
  • One offer is matched.
  • All remaining offers are cancelled.
MANSION mLine™ is available to every MANSION member and is already activated on your account. Use MANSION mLine™ to get in on the action.

Thank you for choosing MANSION.

Unfortunately, they don't have much (= almost none) public action on their exchange... Hopefully it will get better in the future.

Patent pending makes me laugh. The Bet on bet exchange offers this, calling it dynamic betting. Of course they are perhaps not as well known.

Is a smart move. Will allow players to be market makers and generate volume of offers without having to tie up money to cover ever offer.
