I dont think you can do that in prison, I think you get in trouble if you do that, if they catch you 2-3 times they may transfer to a higher security prison or maybe from a federal camp to county jail for a while.

Sure, if you find cigerattes a valuable commodity.

Had a buddy in the slammer down in Arkansas who was a real sharpie.

By the time he got out, the inmates owed him something like 4,400 cartons of cigs.

Hard to believe I can be considered a felon for what I do - General.

See you're thinking down range. Always good to have a Plan B.

Nicky, the further ahead you can think the better. Might be dead tomorrow and all be moot.

No, because inmates who have day passes would go out and find a local to scalp or middle your home-made prison lines....

First of all it depends on your status in the yard and connections overall. Usually you can find the equivelent of a parlay card in most (real) joints, homemade of course. Players need to pick at least 4 team pars with lousy odds.

True General. Just kidding around, as usual.

Back to topic: Will need some Collectors. Start by giving the biggest bad'est your lunch every day.

It's been done before from afar, but in most all cases, there is skimming by clerks and trusted managers..especially of the #2 pencil with eraser variety in past eras.

I'm speaking of country club stays while the office is still in biz back home, in contrast to big house BMing. As usually anyone that put pen-to-pad well enough for Uncle Sam to get wood for, isn't interested in booking cigs, or even fellow country clubbers biz, but rather want their home office to still function in some capacity while away.

The short answer is yes.

The longer answer is no, I never had anything to do with any of it but it is definitely there.

for sure. next to reading books and watching t.v., gambling is the favorite way to pass time. some places even allow "guests" to transfer money from their canteen balance to another's. there are many different commodities like: clean clothes, food, new magazines, bedding, dope, obviously cigarettes, and the scariest of all...ass.
enjoy your saturday gents...HF

There has to be people in there that have big stashes of cash on the outside that can be transferred with an order. I think that is the key. Now, you would only need 5-10 solid gamblers to make a run. It would take time, but once you get in, their is plenty of it.
